Cosmetic Kitchen and Bathroom Updates
A lot of what makes a kitchen or bathroom feel dated sits on the surface: tired cabinets, an old backsplash, worn caulk and mismatched hardware. Updating those pieces changes the room without moving walls or plumbing.

What Makes a Kitchen or Bath Feel Dated
Worn caulk and grout
Cracked or moldy caulk around tubs and sinks looks bad and can let water behind the wall. Recaulking is one of the simplest bathroom updates.
Tired cabinets
Painting or refacing cabinets and swapping the hardware can make a kitchen look new without replacing everything.
An outdated backsplash
A new tile backsplash is one of the most visible changes you can make to a kitchen or bathroom.
